Leigha and Rob | Married

“I knew when I met you, an adventure was going to happen”~ Winnie the Pooh

To say that Leigha and Robert’s Wedding was well planned, well, that would be an understatement!  This country inspired wedding day was perfection…from the dresses, the décor and the food, to the actual Venue that was built brand new by her father, just in time for their big day!  Leigha and Rob met at University and although I didn’t know them back then I can certainly see how they are perfect together.  Both coming from backgrounds rooted in farming, they have so much in common they love to share.  The enjoyment they take from being “on the farm” is so evident in their wishes to center their wedding around that.
Leigha’s day started with hair and makeup at her parent’s house.  Surrounded with her “girls” they sipped mimosas and nibbled on a delicious homemade brunch..  Everyone was calm, cool and just a little bit giddy!
In the wedding “barn”  the final preparations were being made to the tables and the bar.  The guys joined together for a few photos while they waited to proceed across the road to the gorgeous ceremony site.  It’s no mystery why they chose this location for their ceremony, with the swaying cattails and the fall foliage just getting started, the muted tones made the perfect backdrop for such a ceremony.
When Leigha arrived to take the long walk through the field toward her future husband, there was hardly a dry eye among those closest to her.  She was absolutely radiant as her father proudly walked with her toward Rob.
After the ceremony, while the guests mingled and enjoyed the Toonie Bar, we took a little time to get some portraits including some with their fur baby “Gunner” and “little Myra”.   Before too long they made their way back to the “Barn” to enjoy the company of their guests.  Dining on the great food of Booty’s  Grill and Ice Cream Sundae Truck, and sipping on the specially made wine, later gave way to entertaining speeches and stories.
While the party continued into the night, my evening capped off with First dances and a few Sparkler shots.
Congratulations to Leigha and Rob on their beautiful wedding and I wish you many, many  years of happiness.
